Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products and supplies with patients/clients, co-workers, and referral sources as it relates to patient services and third-party reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, fax, email, and in person
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers
- Utilize Brightree billing system for data entry and maintenance of customer records
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on customer needs, concerns, and inquiries
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
- Upsell products or services when appropriate
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette at all times
Skills:
- Proficient in data entry
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers
- Ability to analyze situations and provide suitable solutions
- Experience in outbound calling and sales is a plus
- Multilingual abilities, especially Spanish and Cherokee, are advantageous for this role

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or Cherokee and ability to communicate in multiple languages (desired but not required)
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Experience in outbound calling and sales
- Familiarity with Brightree billing software for customer relationship management
- Ability to handle phone calls with professionalism and proper phone etiquette
- Previous experience in Durable Medical Equipment or healthcare customer service, utilizing analysis skills to improve customer satisfaction
